Experience

I currently work at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT as a Senior Digital Communications Associate. In this role, I support J-PAL’s digital communications strategy, including developing web content, producing video content, and developing engaging email marketing campaigns. I also lead the organization’s climate communications work by promoting our climate action initiative to external audiences and designing campaigns to achieve specific strategic communications goals.

I graduated from The George Washington University (GW) with a Master of Arts in Media & Strategic Communication. As a student at GW, I worked as a Graduate Assistant for esteemed faculty, including the director of the School of Media & Public Affairs and former CNN White House correspondent, Frank Sesno.

While attending GW, I also held internships at think tanks and political organizations dedicated to using strategic, digital communications to achieve their organizational or client goals. Specifically, I worked as Research Assistant on the Public Affairs & Communications team at the United States Institute of Peace. I also worked as a Digital Fellow at Mothership Strategies, where I wrote and coded fundraising emails and text messages for Senate, congressional, and gubernatorial campaigns.

Prior to attending GW, I worked as a Practice Development Assistant at Ropes & Gray LLP. In this role, I worked closely with the partners of the Private Investment Fund practice group to advance their strategic business and internal development goals through pitching for new business opportunities, writing legal ranking submission, and managing internal trainings and events.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English at Northeastern University, where I also was the President of the Student Alumni Association and a recipient of Northeastern’s Huntington 100 and Compass awards and CASE ASAP’s Outstanding Student Leader award.
